Terry has worked with professional, collegiate, high school, and youth sport athletes, parents, coaches, teams and sports organizations with positive results to achieve greater mental toughness and deliver stronger, more successful performances. His focus includes mental skills training for competitive athletes and non-competitive performers, as well as sport parent education.
Terry earned his B.A. and Masters degrees in counseling psychology from Nicholls State University. He is a Certified Mental Game Coach with over 25 years of combined experience in mental game coaching and counseling psychology. Terry studied under Dr. Patrick Cohn, widely recognized nationally and internationally as a leading authority in the field of sports performance and mental training.
As a former NCAA Division I baseball player, Terry understands that effective mental training is a critical component to achieving success in any sport. His athletic background, ability to relate well to athletes and coaches, and extensive training and experience in the field of psychology and sports performance contribute to his effectiveness as a mental game coach.
In addition, Terry is an successful equine trainer and former competitor. His work with professional and amateur riders includes mental coaching designed to increase confidence, enhance focus, promote relaxation, and give you the mental edge to succeed in competition.
